SOVRYN

This is something I’ve intended on writing for a while, but I didn’t know how to start. I know it’s not easy to hear, and it’s sure as 💩 not easy for me to write….

…But…

I have a confession to make.

(Now, I’m not looking for your comments, opinions, or judgment. I feel bad enough as it is, ok? It’s not easy for me to share this with you. I have a reputation to uphold here…)

….

I have a cat that doesn’t like me.

🫤

I know. It’s weird, right? But it’s true.

Back in March (2025), my son manifested a new cat.

One night, he told me that as an adult- whenever he got a new cat – he would always name it after a Pokemon. At the time, we were intending on moving to Costa Rica, so a new animal companion was not on anyone’s bingo card. However, just a couple of nights later, the night of the Lunar Eclipse, the Emperor and I, went out for a lovely evening walk. We heard what sounded like a small kitten crying out to us from underneath a shrub right by the local gator hangout. I bent down and asked her if she needed help. Immediately, she ran right out to us, and proceeded to let me carry her all the way back home!!!

We did the obvious thing. We fed her several cans of tuna, bathed her, and took her to the vet the next day. She wasn’t microchipped, so we took her home and named her, “Lunala”.

The honeymoon phase only lasted for 2-3 months. Then one day, my son took her outside to our backyard – which we do frequently with our other cats. Only when it was time to go in again, she had become a changed cat.

Or a remembered cat? I can’t tell.

And she isn’t enlightening me either!

I’ve tried to connect with her. (It’s not always easy for me to begin with, and then of course, it’s up to the animal when we do.) Only she’s never wanted to. Except for once, just recently. She asked me where my other son was, and wanted me to raise the blinds so she could wait for him in the window. Then she showed me why she loves him so much: Because he smells like a good hunter. (He works in a deli😉)

She’s fine with the rest of my family. It’s just me she doesn’t like. Most likely, it’s because I’m the one who has to constantly chase her away from eating our other cat’s food. But sometimes, I worry it’s because she associates me with the loss of her freedom. What if, when she looks up at me – she is reminded of the face that carried her into captivity?

So we have been struggling with this big existential debate in my family lately. Do we let Lunala roam free – knowing she may never come back? Risking our hearts for her happiness? Do we offer her safety, or her sovereignty?

It is a serious topic of discussion in my family, and one we still don’t have the answer for.

Now that I’ve got your attention, here comes the heavy. This is the part I’ve been struggling with sharing for months now.

The first time I went to see the Orcas at Sea World, to see if I could even connect, (Spoiler alert: I did!! 😉 https://energyalchemyarts.com/🌈sing-your-souls-song🌈/ ) – this is what I wanted to ask them about – their sovereignty.

I wanted to know about their lives in captivity. We all have some very strong opinions up here on the surface, but I wanted to know it from them, directly. This is what they asked me to share with you, years ago – when I thought no one would listen, or understand.

They acknowledged the good intentions of their keepers. (Except for one guy. I think he was new. They didn’t seem to like him for some reason. I’ve never seen him since so … 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Keeping them in captivity is doing more harm than we understand. We are messing with an order of things beyond our comprehension. Orcas (all whales, actually) are some kind of inter-dimensional communicators or beings. Whales have a sort of special task of ‘synchronizing the harmony of the Oceans’ – is the best way I can explain it.  When we cut them off from the Ocean, and keep them in pools, they are unable to fulfill their purpose – which is for the benefit of all life on the planet. To make matters worse, it is like having a TV station on static in their brains at all times. Always on, but never quite tuned in. They showed me that keeping them in captivity is the equivalent of ants, making a human do tricks. 😢

They don’t care if they are sick or injured in the wild and won’t survive. They don’t ask for, or want, our help in that way. (Garbage and debris in the Oceans – is another story!!)

They want their autonomy back. They are getting a little more edgy and antsy every time I’m with them.

But it’s not just the Orcas either!

Everyone is talking about it. It’s the buzzword of the year: Sovereignty.

(Even Spirit thinks it’s an important topic right now! Just as I was locked in an internal debate about what to name this post: ‘Sovereign’ vs. ‘Sovereignty’? The Universe answered my question immediately – Matrix style – in the form of a license plate, driving by right on cue.)

It’s a complex word – the feeling it provokes and the definition. I had to look it up.

I liked Google’s answer best:

“Sovereignty in a person means self-ownership and the supreme authority over one’s own life. It involves having autonomy, making your own decisions, and having the freedom from outside control, both physically and mentally. This concept includes having agency over your body, choices, needs, and desires, and trusting your inner authority rather than being dictated by external people or beliefs.

Key aspects of personal sovereignty:

  • Self-ownership: The fundamental right to be the exclusive controller of your own body and life.
  • Autonomy: The ability to make your own choices and decisions without coercion.
  • Inner authority: Trusting your own inner guidance and truth as valid, rather than deferring to external rules, beliefs, or institutions.
  • Freedom from control: A state of being free from outside control and the ability to disengage from people, situations, or communities that do not honor your sovereignty.

• Self-determination: The power to govern your own life according to your own values and needs.

In essence, personal sovereignty is about recognizing and claiming your own power and responsibility for your life, which allows you to engage with the world from a place of inner alignment and conscious choice.”

So many of us are feeling this need for sovereignty very strongly lately. And the animal world has been trying to tell us for years. (They always seem to feel the change in energy way before we do!)

All around the globe, we have ‘leaders’ making decisions and laws that affect us, but they don’t know us. They start wars and enact violence on other countries and peoples, in the name of religion, or nationalism, or security, or resources. Not on my behalf! I have no quarrel with anyone. I wish no one else harm. Do you? Why do we willingly hand over our sovereignty to unscrupulous governments and people?

**But it’s so much more than this!! It’s time to reclaim our thought processes, our minds, and remember our place among nature. You just have to be willing to remove the blindfold, and be brave enough to think differently.

It’s time to reclaim our individual sovereignty, but we have to begin in the energetic field first.

Here’s a quick and easy, yet powerful statement to speak out loud (our words have power!) – whenever you feel called and as often as you need to. Write it down and keep it handy.

“I clear, cancel, and delete any interference – anything that’s attached to me – in this lifetime and in all lifetimes. In this dimension, and in all dimensions. I am SOVEREIGN and this is complete.”

Maybe once we’ve reclaimed our own individual sovereignty, we will allow Earth’s other inhabitants the same respect.

This is the hope of the Orcas.

(And maybe, Lunala’s too?)

💗Big Love & Many Blessings🌸
