A Love Letter to My Husband (& The Divine Masculine)

(*We all carry our own unique blend of masculine and feminine energies in each of us. Please read this story – as it best relates to you & your relationships.♥️)

**I little while back, I wrote a piece Sisterhood, and I threw a little shade @ the toxic masculinity that’s built into our society. I know there is quite the difference between the toxic patriarchy and the healed masculine, so I felt it was important to get a companion piece out, honoring the Divine Masculine. It took a little while longer than I had hoped, but finally, here it is! ❣️Thank you. Truly. I see you out there, doing the hard work – allowing yourself to feel and heal, while encouraging and supporting other men as they do the same. I see you! I’m married to you, and I’m raising you.**

The healed Divine Masculine carries the energy of the Emperor Card in the tarot.🤴🏻Not a selfish leader in any way, he looks out for all in his realm. He lives and leads from his heart.♥️ The Emperor embodies the strength and wisdom to follow the Empress – as she envisions, creates, & connects. He supports her in her decisions. He protects her with all that he is, making her feel safe enough – to be free enough – to live out the full complexity of who she is, enabling her to live her true calling. She is the gift, the Emperor offers the world.

It reminds me of the incredible art that is, Flamenco dancing!💃 It’s passionate and expressive, with deep emotions felt at its core. The Masculine holding the space so sure and strong, as he allows his partner to live out the full expression of her soul in that moment. She knows just where to turn to find his sure footing and strong arms; his presence supporting every flair and flourish she is capable of.

I think these concepts just flow so perfectly into a *Cherokee Proverb* I recently heard. (*According to the internet. I’m not Cherokee, unfortunately, and can’t confirm the source*):   “A woman’s highest calling is to lead a man to his soul, so as to unite him with Source…. A man’s highest calling is to protect woman, so she is free to walk the earth unharmed….”

But it wasn’t until a dear friend gave me the perfect quote for what the healed Divine Masculine looks like to her….:  “The masculine is the banks of the river supporting me. While I am the wild untamed river, flowing and rushing with deep unbridled emotion”…. …that it hit me like gentle breeze, sending goose bumps down my arms…

Holy Shit!

I married the Emperor!!! 🤴🏻

At a recent ceremony I led for the Divine Feminine, the subject came up of what our role is, as the healed feminine & our responsibility in assisting and supporting the masculine in our lives. We came to the consensus that, as we heal and begin to live and lead from our ‘womb space’ – (think creation and sacred connection to the Divine) – we can then make it safe for the masculine to live and lead from their ‘heart space’ – supporting and encouraging them as they do.

As the feminine starts living from a healthy space of authentic feeling, creating, & connecting –  we can, in turn, help the masculine live again from their ♥️. We can show them how to let their emotions – especially love – lead the way. And we can hold sacred space for them, as they awaken to the remembrance of who they are, and their true connection to the Divine.

It’s a beautiful give and take.  An ebb and flow.  This sacred dance of the Divine. The Divine Masculine enables her.  The Divine Feminine frees him,  as she gently guides him,  like the moon holds the tides. 🌕

And so to my husband, the Emperor🤴🏻 (& the other Divine Masculine out there): Thank you.♥️ Thank you for loving me so fully ~ so completely ~ that you allow me to be me.  It is a most precious gift and I am truly grateful! You are the mountain in the middle of my sometimes turbulent ocean.  You tie me to the earth.  You hold the sacred space for me – allowing me to fly as high as I can go. 🦅 And, still, you hold the sacred space for me when I, sometimes, thrash and wail against your shores. 🌊

My sacred vow to you is this:  I promise to walk with you – hand in hand – even through your darkest shadows.    Until you remember the light you hold within; a Sacred spark rekindled. Standing by you, come what may, as you find your way back home to yourself. Divinity in its masculine form: Steady. Strong. Safe. Sure. And most importantly,  Soft-hearted! A drop of Divinity, truly! You are an Emperor among men!

With my deepest respect & gratitude,

Always & Evermore ~ Mountains of my ♥️!!!!
